Music Trip to Spain

SMSU alumni as well as students and faculty from the SMSU Music Program were on tour of Spain in 2016!

The tour included Madrid, Burgos, Segovia, Lerma, and Salamanca. Highlights include the Prado Museum, the Royal Palace, and Flamenco show. 

 

 

English speaking tour guide escorted the group throughout the trip. This trip was open to alumni, community members, and friends of SMSU. 

 

 

Italian Reflections - Oceania Cruses
Athens to Barcelons (7 nights)

Alumni Experienced the celebrated cities and towns of Italy's west coast and the charms of Provence as they sailed abroad the beautifully appointed Oceania Cruises Marina, a haven of elegance. Set out from Athens and cruised the Mediterranean seas to Italy, first stopping in Sorrento, where they explored the nearby ruins of Pompeii, the city famously frozen in time, or traveled to Capri and admire its rustic Italian beauty.

Next, they visited the external city of Rome, home to  marvelous wonders like the Colosseum, the Trevi Fountain, and St. Peter's Basilica. Continue to Livorno, gateway to the Tuscan countryside and the legendary cities of Florence and Pisa, two icons of art and architecture. 

Florence offers some of the world's greatest Renaissance structures, and Pisa is home to the superb Field of Miracles with its remarkable Leaning Tower.  They experienced la dolce vita on this remarkable cruise to some of Italy's most revered cities!

British Isles Odyssey - Oceania Cruises
London to Paris (12 nights)

The rich history and dramatic scenery of the British Isles are revealed while cruising on Oceania Cruises Nautica, a luxurious vessel with a casual yet elegant ambiance.
