Webinars
With more than 23,000 SMSU alumni scattered throughout the world, it's challenging to host alumni professional development events. We are looking forward to planning future webinars with a wide range of topics the appeal to our alumni base.
What Is a Webinar?
Webinar, short for Web-based seminar, is a presentation that is transmitted over the Internet. It is an interactive seminar that merges a conference call and a Web presentation. To participate, all you need is an Internet connection with speakers or a headset. No travel involved!
How It Works?
- Reserve Your Spot — After reserving your spot with the SMSU Alumni Office, you'll receive a confirmation e-mail with a link to the webinar registration.
- Webinar Registration — By filling out this short registration form, you'll receive specific instructions on how to access the Webinar on the day of the presentation.
- During the Webinar — You'll be able to hear the presenter, see a slideshow, type in questions to the presenter for a live response, and take online polls to see how your opinions compare to the other virtual attendees.
- After the Webinar — The presentation will be archived and accessible online.
