Tournament Rules:

1. The tournament is scheduled for February 15, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Lake Sarah.

2. Should inclement weather cause cancellation on February 15, 2020, there will be no make up date.

3. Prizes will be awarded starting with the first fish caught. Prizes will continue to be awarded based on all weighed fish. In the event of a tie, the winner will be the person who weighed in their fish first.

4. Each person will be allowed to fish two holes per registration. You may weigh-in as many fish as you want. There is no age requirement on tournament participation.

5. All fish entered must be alive and brought to the weigh-in station immediately. Dead or frozen fish are ineligible. Judges shall have the right to verify that fish were legally caught. The decision of the judge is final. All prize winners may be required to take polygraph exams as part of contest requirements. In the event deception is detected or the contestant refuses to take the exam, his/her prize will be forfeited. Contestants are responsible for verification of weight of fish at time of weigh-in.

6. All fish must be caught and the contestant must be in the weigh-in station by 3:00 p.m.

7. Contestants must fish in the area designated for the contest and will be required to have their wristbands visible at all times.

8. Contestants will be allowed to move within the contest area. You are allowed to bring as many poles as desired, but can only have one line per hole, with a max of two holes per registration.

9. The tournament and raffle are two separate events.

10. Entry fee for the tournament is $40.00 per adult and $10.00 per child. Children must be accompanied by a registered adult. No refunds will be given for any reason.

11. Contestants are responsible for their own safety, actions, and property at all times.

12. All laws regulating Lake Sarah by the appropriate state authority will be abided by.

13. Contest and raffle prizes are the responsibility of the winners. Licensing, registration, transportation, taxes, and all incidental or consequential expenses incurred are the responsibility of the winners. Prizes must be claimed within 90 days of notification.

14. All bait fish must be provided by the contestant.

15. Failure to comply with any contest rules subjects contestants to disqualification and removal from competition site, as determined by contest officials.

16. A leader board will be located in the contest area. All efforts will be made to keep the board up to date and accurate. Tournament results remain unofficial until verified by the head judge.

17. All contestants and others hereby consent to the use of any names, photographs or likenesses of themselves to be used in the promotion of our contest, including but not limited to print, radio, television, or any other media.

18. All houses are subject to inspection upon registration and at any point during the tournament. Refusal to let contest officials inspect any part of the house will result in disqualification from the tournament.

19. Anyone fishing within the contest area must have a wristband. You may not have "spectators" fishing in the same house or vicinity if they are not registered with the contest.

20. All participants must be present at the rules meeting prior to the start of the fishing tournament. The rules meeting will take place at tournament headquarters. Tournament headquarters is located on the west side of the lake. Look for tents and flags.
