"I'm excited about the opportunity to meet new people and gain more experience in a field that I'm not super knowledgeable about. The office seems very inviting and knowledgeable about what they do, and I'm extremely excited to learn from such a skilled group of people."

Future plans: "After receiving my Master's, I hope to get out of the Midwest for a little bit, living somewhere without snow! Outside of that, I hope to find a job where I am inspiring people in the event industry, lifting people up to fulfill their dreams and help them achieve their lifelong goals the best I can."

Favorite memory of being the Alumni GA: "Working in the office at SMSU has so many amazing memories. But, my favorite memory of being the Alumni GA was definitely planning a student trip to Round Lake Winery - which is owned and operated by fellow SMSU Alumni. It was such a unique trip to experience the great ways that SMSU Alumni are impacting even the smallest areas of the country. It was fun to learn about creating a unique business and staying connected to their alma mater."

Currently: "I stayed in Marshall after graduation and accepted a position as a Marketing and Events Coordinator with the Marshall Convention & Visitors Bureau. I'm working closely with all of the connections I made as the Alumni GA and I'm excited to see what events we can bring to Marshall and to SMSU."

Favorite memory of being the Alumni GA: "I loved being involved on campus. My favorite part of being the Alumni GA was planning homecoming. Throughout my experience as a GA, I made a lot of connections on and off campus, and it made me a more confidence individual."
